OALGen will skip user entry 'Nikie Goldman' in address list '\Global Address List' because the SMTP address '' is invalid.
I have five of these as errors. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks

Check their SMTP address and proxyAddresses attribute for any issues. In fact, you could also run the OABInteg ultility written by Dave Goldman of Microsoft. He has supporting information on your issue in the link below: http://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman/archive/2005/08/28/oabinteg-and-how-to-use-it-to-troubleshoot-oab-generation-issues.aspx

I saw in an article the following to run the following: Get-OfflineAddressBook | Update-OfflineAddressBook, then Update-FileDistributionService When I do the update... it asks for an identity and I am not sure what to put in there. Thanks

Hello, Id agreed with Neil. Did you verify the primary SMTP address and proxy address attribute? Below article is for Exchange 2003 but you can just verify the proxy address attribute with Step-2b for the users which are coming in your event log. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926206

Each one of the five has an alias email, or two email names in their account; for example, jpeevey@aol.com and jvaughn@aol.com. One of them is set as the default. When I look at the email type The one that is the default is SMTP the one that is not is smtp. I hate to be so ignorant how do I check the proxy address attribute without using the snapin from the article? When I look at article and try and run it, we do not have the snapin loaded. Thanks
